|Newsletter 07 May 2021|
Welcome to our third February issue.
In this issue, we are sharing with you our submission to the consultation on Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) call for Evidence which we hope will inform the development of the Government strategy, which officially includes male victims of crimes such as domestic abuse.
Included below are two guidance articles. The first, on Shared Parenting, includes DOs and DON'Ts. The second is on Home School Learning for separated parents and encouraging parents to involve each other, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Also there is a link to the 2021 edition of the Judiciary Equal Treatment Bench Book which contains for judges on dealing with a whole range of groups, including promoting a better understanding of litigants in person, parties with disabilities, etc. It is intended for judges, but may be of value to some litigants in person to understand the expectations of judges.
We are working on a number of other articles, including our "Strategy for Separated Families and Protection of Children and Adults" that will follow in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your support.
With best wishes
