FNF recommends new book on Shared Parenting

·              The Custody Minefield now available to order via Families Need Fathers

·              The best self-help guide to everything concerning divorce/separation and children in

years

·              Author Michael Robinson’s book is completely child-centered

The Custody Minefield, written by Michael Robinson, is a clear, concise guide on all aspects of separation, divorce and your children and is now available to order from Families Need Fathers (FNF).

In a recent review in McKenzie, FNF’s national newsletter, Editor Rebecca Kingdom-Kruszewski said: “What stands out the most is the way Robinson manages to present the information in a completely gender neutral way - emphasising the importance, and need, for both parents in children’s lives and thus strengthening the argument for shared parenting.

I would recommend this book to anyone affected by parental separation and especially to FNF volunteers,” she added.

Broken down into relevant sections, including: The Legal Process, Parental Responsibilities and Rights and Crisis Situations, this book will equip you with the know-how to ensure that your children continue to have a full and loving relationship with you after your separation from your partner.

The Custody Minefield is completely child focused throughout, reminding parents that although they may be experiencing difficulties themselves, they must put these aside as the child’s best interests are paramount: “Children adjust more quickly to parental separation when their parents work collaboratively in their upbringing, and remain civil.”

The Custody Minefield costs £8 to members of the charity (RRP £9.99), including postage and packing, and can be ordered via the office (              08707 607 111        admin@fnf.org.uk) or the website (www.fnf.org.uk)
