Religion

No matter where we live there are laws in each country that we must abide by. Many people choose to follow religions that impose additional 'laws'. Below are some links to religious websites where they specifically relate to children in divorce or separation.

We may not all share the same religion but there are many words of wisdom found in the pages of these sites (although these are not necessarily the views of FNF) eg.

"Primarily, children have two rights: to receive love and to receive proper upbringing".

"Only with a joint effort by both parents fulfilling their respective roles can the children be balanced and fulfil a meaningful role in society. Generally, a single parent is unable to adequately fulfil both the rights of the child".

Jewish - Getting your Get, JUMP
Islamic - Central Mosque.com, Ask Imam
Catholic - ASDC
Seventh Day Adventist - Family Ministries

I hope this page will grow in time with the input from fathers of different religions.
